Finally….Shannon has come back…to New York City!
Thanks to @mediagoon for covering the past 10 days or so. Of course he will hit me up for a jersey. I think he makes more money off the site than I do.
I did enjoy yesterday’s commentary on not being a douchebag to people who wear attire for another team. Like Keith said, it’s just a baseball game. Disposable entertainment. Don’t act like Matt Harvey is your brother. He is a guy who was drafted by a business to perform duties for hundreds of thousands of dollars while wearing a shirt that says New York. There’s no reason to assault someone for wearing a shirt with another city on it. This is men in pajamas hitting a ball with a stick. Sit back and have fun. Don’t validate your life on whether or not Ike Davis gets a hit.
Meanwhile, I have no idea what’s going on in Flushing. I’m not up to speed on storylines or even who they play next. I guess they dropped 3 of 4 to the Yankees and then swept the Marlins, right?
Anyways, it’s almost time to slip into All Star Game mode and while I was gone I emailed a guy about a thing and well….maybe some cool things coming for all of us if Marvel Team Up (or maybe Worlds Finest is more appropriate) works out. Stand by for news!
