Today’s reason for trading Murphy

Murphy has earned the respect of the front office by working to turn himself into a passable second baseman, but he is another aggressive hitter, whose style does not fit what the general manager, hitting coach, and organizational instructors teach.  This is one of the reasons that the team might be ready to move him.

  1. All to save money.
Look who they want to get rid of; Ike, Murph…
They are not going to spend anything this winter; they will pocket all the cash coming off the books.
Time for the Wilponzis to sell to someone who is capable of operating a major league franchise!

  2. You would think they would reward him for being so good in 2013 & carrying the team with David out. Murphy has done all they asked & now they want to trade him. Money aside if Ike is traded they have the extra money to give Murphy. Mets unlike St Louis trade away their good players.

  3. The Mets must NOT, must NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES trade Murphy, PERIOD!! He is just too valuable to this organization!!!

  4. It’s going to be a long winter of oublic relations B.S.

WeAre interested in everyone and sign nobody.

Sit back and wait, Let everyone fill their rosters, then strike with “Dumpster a Diving” and minor league free agents!
