SLACKISH REACTION: I have zero idea. I had a pool party. Let me google…oh yeah it was Montero Day – of course the Mets won with the ace on the mound. Some other stuff probably happened too. I actually woke out of my sleep dreaming that Travis d’Arnaud had a season ending injury, but in dream world the Mets still played at Shea so I don’t think it happened.
Today focus on the still nice enough weather and your fantasy football team, and then enjoy the hometown Rays for a three game series against New York (AL).
In today’s NOT LINKING: the newspapers have “the rotation wasn’t good after all” articles that were probably written during the week, and there are also “Montero shuts us all up” articles. No, he was actually really bad we weren’t just all being jerks.
