SLACKISH REACTION: Holy cow baseball is boring. Around 8:45 I decided I’d rather watch “TV” so I put the Mets on the second screen via sling box and started watching John Oliver. But then I couldn’t even be bothered to look at the sling. Anyway my #1 follower Thor pitched well.
Around 10:15 I realized the Mets game even existed and that I didn’t care. Searching my feelings this morning I realize this season is an extended version of the end of last season – we aren’t watching the future. Instead of Aoki we are watching Austin Jackson. Bautista is Random Veteran. None of it matters,
