You sound like Trump when he was telling us the 15 cases would soon be zero.
Stop trying to be (fake) optimistic. You’re not playing a full schedule.
For my readers, right around 2pm came reports that Manfred said “we are not going to start on April 9” – YEAH NO KIDDING.
And the comissioner says owners are till hopeful to play a full schedule.
That just isn’t happening. April 9 isn’t happening. April 16 isn’t happening. April 23rd isn’t happening. April 30 isn’t happening.
May isn’t happening either.
So you’re not playing 162.
Instead of saying ridiculous things, say nothing. It’s OK. None of us know when this will end…but we do know that we are closer to the beginning than the end.
Stop insulting us suggesting there will be 162 games. Or that the World Series could be played in December. WHY would you want to play in December.
Just play a shortened schedule when and if you get the chance. The entire economy is gong to be floored. Me, you, TV, baseball, other sports, all of us. We will all figure it out.
But 162 games? Stop insulting us.
