The Big Red Machine of the 1970s had 4 Hall of Famers (yes I am including Pete Rose) and Johnny Bench was the best of the bunch.
He was both the best offensive AND defensive catcher of his time. AND he was the host of The Baseball Bunch! (If you have no idea what that is, go and Google it right now).
One of the 3 greatest catchers of all time, Johnny Bench is clearly an Immortal.
