So MLBSHOP.Com Hasn’t Sent Out You Orders?

I see Shannon fired up the Goon Signal today. He tells me you guys have had some bad experiences with MLBShop.

I have had nothing but bad experiences since the company Fanatics took over the MLB fulfillments for mlbshop.com. In my opinion they are absolutely the worst. I once ordered an authentic jersey from them, not only did the order take two months, that’s right two months to get to me, but it was wrong. I was sent some college football teams t shirt in a woman’s size small. I had to jump through hoops to get my $250 bucks back. Fanatics also screwed over NY Rangers fans when the Rangers made the Stanley Cup finals against the Kings. They screwed up with their pricing on jerseys and when a whole bunch of fans bought them they did not honor the pricing for most. Yet they like one order of a 100 jerseys go through at that sales price.

I have tales of incompetence with MLB Shop and Fanatics but I’m not going to get to far into it. But I feel all your pain with fulfillment company. I refuse to order from them. I order my jerseys directly from majestic, my tees from modells and my hats from lids.
There is no way orders should take this long.

Now this is all just my opinion. Some folks might have problems with these other places I shop.

Oh yeah the deal MLB signed with Fanatics is do 15 years so this is going to really suck for a while.

Stop With These Damn Mets Songs.

1351794832_stop-sign

I am writing this last night hopefully before a Game 1 win….

Stop. Just Stop. I know you guys are trying to catch on and be the next Viral thing but come on. You are all trying way too hard. They aren’t good. The parodies, the “original” songs, the taking an Irish wake song and trying to make it inspiring. Enough already. They aren’t funny. They don’t pump anyone up. You aren’t original. I can’t be the only one who feels this way. Am I? Maybe because I am becoming closer to fully running this blog I am getting grumpy like Shannon…..

Nah that’s not it..The songs just blow…

Mets World Series Game 1 Thoughts

Wow. Some long ass game there last night. In my mind and I could be wrong Cespedes should have backed off that ball and let Conforto play it. I know the Centerfielder has the “right of way” but when you know you can’t get to it, you should let the other fielder play it.

Familia. He was due to get scored on in the playoffs. It sucks that it was with two outs away from the win, but the law of averages indicated he was due.

The Loss. The Mets won five games straight in the playoffs. Again I refer to the law of averages.

You know what this means? The Mets got both those things out of the way now. You have the Mets Ace, Jacob deGrom on the mound tonight. You know he is going to be locked in. You know the Mets want revenge for that loss. You know that the Mets are going to play their hearts out. Duda is due to go on a tear. You might not see another HR out of Murphy but his bat is still hot. I call Wright Captain Unclutch. Most of the time I’m joking about that, sometimes I’m not.

You know what though? I have no despair in my heart today. I am not down at all. I am ready for the Mets to win tonight. I am ready for the Mets to come back with a hunger, an anger even. The Mets will make the plays they need to make. deGrom will pitch lights out and shut down the Royals. Mr. Met is going to knock out the Royals mascot. And tonight our World Series playing Mets will WIN this damn game. And at the QBC this year we will be talking about how awesome it feels to be Mets fans!!!

Tickets remain available for Game 3, though the get-in price has skyrocketed to $845, according to TiqIQ.com.  You can also find hotels near Citi Field at Hipmunk.com for less than $100 per night if you’re from out of the area.

NY1 Looking For Mets Fan Caves

Roger Clark asks:

Anyone have an amazing Mets shrine or man or lady cave in their house? We want to come see it on TV. Message me if you want me to visit with a camera one morning for NY1.

– I put mine in the running but I have to work.
