I have never advocated for any boycott in all the years of doing this, but before we get to todays post I want to remind you of something.

Also, this horrible organization should have had that Seaver statue when the man was alive.  I am pretty sure we knew since he retired in 1987 that he was pretty good.  Maybe we should have given him a cool nickname like the Polar Bear or something,

That is what the Mets think of you.  And don’t hang this all on Baez.  Why didn’t Pete Alonso publicly say it was wrong?   Where was deGrom?

The players don’t like you.  Now that you have that information, spend your money how and where you choose.  I personally will be fine not attending a single game for the 4th straight year.  It’s a lousy product and now the players openly dislike Mets fans.  Why would I spend money to watch a 4 hour game featuring openers?

The Mets open the 2022 season at home against the Washington Nationals on Thursday, March 31 at 1:10 p.m. and continue their inaugural series Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3. New York’s first homestand of the season concludes with a two-game set against the defending World Series champion Atlanta Braves, Monday, April 4 and Tuesday, April 5.

Always trade high.  You apparently waited too long and have at best the 9th best first baseman.

I mean, Mets, come on already.  How many candidates do you need?

At this point I am ready to hire Donkey Kong.

I don’t know what would make the Mets think DK is at all qualified…but I am pretty confident will say that about whoever they DO hire.  I mean, they hired an AGENT to be the GM, so is hiring a barrel throwing gorilla any worse?  It really isn’t.

Plus, I would love to see DK throw some barrels at Gelbs.

What’s the worst that happens?  DK is hands off?  That worked for Davey Johnson.

However, the Mets have enough injuries on their own without someone slipping on a banana peel – and I think that risk rules DK out.

Will Donkey Kong manage the Mets? No.

Imagine if I could take all the things you love about Wally Backman and ramp them up to 11.

Imagine Gelbs asking Lang how he thinks the season will go.

“Prediction?…Pain!”

When the Mets bring in some overpriced aging “piece” Lang will say

“Get out of my face! I don’t need no has-beens in my corner. And you better wipe that look off your face before I knock it off. “

Lang pities no fools.  The Mets will play gritty ball and they will hunt down the World Champion Braves

What did you say, Paper Champion?

That’s right.  Clubber does not respect the Braves at all.  This is what we need in Queens.

Plus we can get…..wait for it…..T Shirts.

I really can’t think of any reason why the Mets WOULDN’T want Clubber Lang as their next manager.  But the Mets will probably go for some boring choice.  I pity those fools.

Will Clubber Lang manage the Mets? No.
