Speaking of photos, thumbs off to Chris for sending over the pics of the museum. I learned of them from Metsblog because the google spam filter was a little stringent today (and Metsblog is good). Â Anyways, thanks to Chris for thinking of me. Â I haven’t looked at them, I kinda want to be surprised, although I might have fainted at the site of real Mr. Met.

That’s long gone. In the late 80’s it was sitting on the street level of Shea by a Gate E ramp.
The original Mr. Met had a much smaller head.
Frank I believe original Mr. Met’s head was that big. Will dig for a photo.
This is the real Mr. Met head. Wait until you are in the Mets Hall of Fame and it will remove any doubt.
