Cool tid-bits include that male Mets fans drink 43% more beer than Yankees fans.

The reasons that “… male Mets fans drink 43% more beer than Yankees fans” are numerous. First, beer is great! Second, did they specify who was pitching vs. how much beer was consumed? For instance, I’m much more apt to drink vast quantities of beer when “Bad Ollie” is pitching (but let us hope those days are behind us now) than when Santana is (and was quite tempted to break open the liquor cabinet back in the days when Armando BenÃtez was pitching).
Third, Yankee fans are effete wine-drinkers. 😉
I had a tough life as a kid, yes, my older brother was a Yankee fan. Needless to say this article was forwarded. We haven’t had a win like this since Oct 24, 2000
