I switched over to the Mets game while MNF was in commercial…Junior was like “who is that???!” (It was Duda.) Junior is bothered by the Francoeur trade news.
Anyways, Jimmy the Mets fan is at the game and took this picture. I’m not gonna kill the Mets on this. Summer is over, it rained, the Jets are on, it’s the Pirates, I sold my tickets for later this week for $5.
If this game goes a few more innings, the ushers will outnumber the people. They will still ask to see your ticket every time you go to the Men’s room….Wait a minute…rising star Nick Evans just won the game.

Sometime around the 8th, SNY showed a wide angle from behind home to show the OF alignment. It was so pitiful I had to rewind and take a second look.
Before anybody even thinks about griping about the Mets attendance tonight:

18,647 in Atlanta
Why would anyone want to go on a chilly September night? I saw the wide angle shot from behind home plate on SNY and thought the game was over. It was only the 7th inning!
