Here’s a cap that the Mets are giving away on Saturday June 26th. Â Max didn’t like this one either.
I think it’s a good summer/beach cap. Â Wear it, let it get bleached by sun and chlorine, grass stains and suntan lotion, and don’t worry about it.
I checked and it appears that this game is not part of the Saturday Plus plan which seems to include a few minuses. Â That’s annoying.

Reminder about the Tuesday McFadden’s meetup
A quick post to remind everyone about the Blue Cap Army meetup at McFadden’s tomorrow (wear a blue cap).
I’m back from the secret mission which included anesthesia (I’m fine) and I found it fascinating that while I was put under I was dreaming about the Mets. I can’t recall the specifics but my first waking thought was “wow I was dreaming about the Mets.”
I guess that suggests that when I lay down in the bamboo fields to die (anyone?) I’ll have a transistor radio nearby and Howie will tell me that the Mets are wearing their traditional pinstripes as I close my eyes and head for the Happy Recap…

Brooklyn Cyclones to Host TNA Wrestling
Yes I am a wrestling fan. So when I heard that TNA was coming to MCU Park, home of the Brooklyn Cyclones I was stoked. Tickets for this event went on sale today for July 2nd.
I have been to the park before and I know how great the views are there. I figured seeing a wrestling show there could be pretty fun too.
Not only after the event is there going to be a fireworks show, you also get a ticket for a later Cyclones game for free for each ticket bought for TNA.
The highest price tickets were $50 bucks for ringside seats plus a meet and greet with the wrestlers.
There are also $35 field box seats and $20 regular box seats. They don’t have a meet and greet though. But you still get the free Cyclones ticket.
Ringside tickets are sold out but the other tickets are available here.
