I got nothin’

After three years of doing this I think there’s less out there this morning than ever before.

Even on New Years Day one of my fellow bloggers will post an old pennant they found in a closet or something.

This morning…zilch. The papers are about football. Cerrone is half way to the Jets game. Saw something on Metsmerized about raising kids as Yankees fans. Twitter is about the VMAs.

Does anyone want to read another round of Jerry/Wally/Bobby? I don’t.

We all hate Castillo and Perez. Got it.

Attendance will be awful, nobody will renew. Got it.

I have some fluff/fun for later in the day but as far as news…all I got for ya is Good morning Mets fans.

The 1992 New York Mets Yearbook Cover

You know it’s about time this franchise did something. Finally – we got ourselves a sure Hall of Famer to play first…Bonilla and Saberhagen both look like they are on their way and Torborg is the right guy to lead this team to the future! I mean Saberhagen could win 3 games in his sleep. Bonilla can carry a team by himself – plus they can restructure his contract so that they don’t even have to pay him until the far off future! We haven’t even mentioned Doc and man those uniforms look sharp!

I’m renewing my 1992 tickets right now!

Be careful what you wish for Mets fans.

Mets Police podcast and weekly highlights

I hope you enjoyed Packers-Eagles (by the way NFL Red Zone rocks, spend the $50) but the podcast was pretty darn good tonight. We discussed Santana, Reed, Wally, Mazzilli, Daulton and trading Ike Davis.

Fortunately for you, you can just listen below or subscribe via itunes.
