Most Popular on Mets Police (March 14th)

I’m having bizarro day.  Isn’t Daylight Savings when you’re supposed to wake up later than usual?  I’m up early.  Maybe I’ll go slap on a black Mets cap and take good photos.  Here’s the weekly rundown of most popular:

Despite this being a Mets blog, video of the Yankee Stadium upper deck being knocked down was viewed many times.

Re-alignment was talked about a lot.  Here’s my sensible plan, then Dan had to go all nuts with his.

Some pictures of McFadden’s, under construction at Citi Field.  I think these pics show where the new fan bricks are going.

Nice job by Dan on Why are you a Mets fan? I’m actually thinking about a 15 game plan now.

I’d like to see standings flags on top of Citi Field. I was surprised to learn that they had been replaced by American flags in the final days of Shea…not sure when that switch happened, but I see the evidence in my photos.

I’m really surprised you guys are digging Fake Jeff Wilpon:  here’s episode 1 and 2 if you missed it.  I have nothing to do with it, I just find it funny.

I was surprised people clicked on this one, I thought I was just being cranky: Do the Mets bosses really think this uniform looks good?

Older but popular:

The C fell off the Citi Field sign.

Here’s some pictures of Yankee Stadium’s demolition. It’s too bad there’s no way to partially gut a stadium and make it newer.

Luis Castillo’s baseball card is pretty funny.

The Mets have quietly admitted there are obstructed views, a story now picked up by the Times, NBC, and Post.  Dave Howard, where’s my apology?

This regularly gets clicked: It might make financial sense, but it sure is annoying to think Bobby Bonilla will get $1 million a year from the Mets from 2011-2035.
